Schelsey Mahammadie-Sabet is an artist living in Northridge, California and working wherever she goes. Her medium subsumes whatever discarded objects are available at any given moment (i.e. glass shards, stones, flower petals, seeds, dead beetles, kumquat skins, orange peels, cucumbers, carrots, scantrons, tea leaves and so on and so forth). In addition to generating artwork, Schelsey runs an alternative art space called Leiminspace which opened in 2015.
Schelsey recently began working toward attaining a Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy with specialized training in Clinical Art Therapy at LMU.
